Mini IVF

Mini IVF is a process in which minimal stimulation is used during the IVF process. All other procedures during IVF, such as monitoring, egg retrieval, fertilization and transfer, still occur.

Mini IVF, also called Micro IVF, is cheaper than traditional IVF due to lower medicinal costs and birth costs if a single pregnancy occurs. From an economic perspective, it has a lot of positives, although pregnancy rate was lower than conventional IVF in one study.[1] Another study found it an alternative to conventional IVF, but another criticized it as still an experimental procedure.[2][3]

Ask your doctor if Mini IVF can be right for your case.
